What is the Pole, Art & Movement Festival all about?

First and foremost - about sharing our art!

Switzerland's pole community is growing fast. We have a large number of studios across the country offering all sorts of pole styles, and different cities host amazing pole competitions each year. Studios also do a great job at showcasing their students and instructors at their own studio shows or external events they collaborate at.

However, so far there haven't been many opportunities for pole dancers from different studios to join a single platform and share their stories on stage - without having to necessarily compete. There are many people who would love to have a moment on stage without the pressures and potential triggers a competiton may evoke. Perhaps some competion enthusiasts would also enjoy to perform a competition piece again, but in a festival setting.

Apart from giving people this opportunity to perform, the festival of course also aims to be an exciting occasion to entertain the local community! We're here to share our art with others! And in order to make the occasion even more mesmerising, we want to include our friends from the aerial arts and other bodyweight movement arts to join in!

We're very excited to launch this projet and are are so happy to have you with us - as performer or spectator!
